Thanks for the links...It was interesting to see that distance ed started in the 1800s...I didn't realize it had such a lengthy history. It was also interesting to see how different mediums (mail, radio, tv) have been used to facilitate learning. One item that figured prominently on the timeline in the last two decades was Western Governor's University. I saw that one of the articles you are studying focuses on this University. I have heard lots about them and hope to learn more as your posts on that subject expand.
